make a console/PC hybrid that feels like a console, or create the software to make it feel like a console.

Make Windows not just good but great, for gaming.

- Create an algorithm and a benchmark for each hybrid computer. I mean, if your handheld/desktop, etc, is connected to a 144Hz screen, internally limit the maximum framerate in games to -3fps the screen's refresh rate (i.e. 141fps in this case).

- Create a framerate limiter with low input lag options like Rivatuner for ideal framepacing. Same as before, use an algorithm to know, based on the benchmarks, which base fps your game should be locked at.

- Create an algorithm so if the max framerate of the screen can't be achieved when playing a game, the framerate limiter for games kicks in and locks the game to 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, or 1/5, 1/8 or whatever.

- Create a frame generator software that will multiply the locked base framerate to the exact max refresh rate of your screen that offers good quality enough to not display artefacts.

With that, you are going to have perfect framepacing and use the display in the most ideal way.

Do this with flexible configurations, which can be ordered from MS's own webstore at prices of, for example, $500, $750, $999.

After today's SHOW, I would just say this:

It's time to subscribe to Gamepass for everyone!

And Day1 with Xbox powa!!!
Nah...I like owning my games, even years later and I dislike paying for stuff I do not like, so I will pass on Gamepass and buy the games I like, when I like 🤷‍♂️

Ok I'm playing Ninja fucking Gaiden 2 UE5 remaster starting today and 5 other AAA MS games for the next 4 months, all for $50
Good luck to anyone who wants to do this without Gamepass for $400.

Of course, everyone does what they want. :)

Good luck revisiting those games later down the road...most of the games on Gamepass are games that I pass on (~90% of games are shite these days).
Some games I take years to finish (eyes "Rome - Total war").
If I have the funds for a flagship GPU, I have the funds to get the games I want too and when I want them.

And I dislike giving my money (even a small portion of them) to games I find "sucky" 🤷‍♂️

I mean, none of these incoming games are something I woud spend my time on:
Lonely Mountain: Snow Riders
Gigantic: Rampage Edition
Eternal Strands
Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap
Shady Part of Me
Sniper Elite: Resistance
Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector
Far Cry New Dawn

None of the outgoing games here are games I would spend my time on:
Anuchard
Broforce Forever
Darkest Dungeon
Death’s Door
Maquette
Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem

(They are all games I wouldn't even add to my library even if they were free 🤷‍♂️)

Gamepass would be a waste of money for me.
Next game I buy will most likely be "Kingdom Come Deliverance 2"
The next game after that I still have no clue.
Because as I said at the start, most games are bad and not worth my time nor money.

We are talking about MS AAA games in this context. The incoming games cover a fairly wide range and promise to be of high quality.

Furthermore, subscribers to the Game Pass service have the opportunity to view these games almost for free, and if I like them, I play them. This is a pretty strong argument for the service.

The point here is that many MS games are just starting to come out and they will all be Day1 Game Pass. In fact, it is from now that the GP offer starts to get really interesting. Everyone will decide what is more worthwhile, the monthly subscription or the purchase of expensive games.

Not for me...my money goes to the stuff I like, nothing for stuff I find crap.
And I buy, so years later I can still play/tinker.

I wasn't never a fan of renting a VHS movie either 🤷‍♂️
