Xbox 360 Startup issue.

For some reason, when I first turn on my 360, the startup video starts playing, and right before the "x ball" begins spinning around, the screen goes black for a sec, and comes back as the ring of energy comes out of the X ball.

Has anyone else had this happen, and does anyone know how to fix it?

happends all the time on my x360. Because my HDTV decides to scale the picture a little when i boot it up.

Ah, so it is a TV issue. I just got a new set, and the previous one didn't have this problem. Is there anyway to correct this?

Is your TV native 720p? Mine isnt, its like 1366x768 or something. So it scales no matter what.

I guess you could change your tv

How do you have the TV hooked up? Try turning off the aspect-ratio autosensing on that input, if your set will allow it, and see if that helps

A VGA cable might solve the problem, if you're really bothered by it...

Had the same problem on my 1080i LCD - set my Xbox to 1080i and it works as it should

I thought that all LCD screen are by nature, progressive scan?

It's more than likely an LCD projection and accepts a 1080i input.
