BTW in case anyone just sees the vgchartz link, these are not vghartz numbers, but rather from a forum poster "prosugno360" who claims to have access to gfk numbers for Italy.

One month in july = a source for better sales in the entire europe?

Germany alone = a source for better sales in the entire europe?

If your going to claim something like that, you need a real source, this info is worth nothing.

I didn't say so did I (explicitly claimed that this source was germany only, so you better reread my post)?

But now we have 2 countries saying the same already

We also have PS3 trending down toward 360 rapidly

Not too mention I think this was before 360's Euro price adjustments.

And before the PS3 starter pack.

It will be interesting how Microsofts massive ad campaign for Halo3 will turn out, it will probably cause some bump in the sales over here, even though that not everyone here are hell bent for shooters.

Here's some European numbers for Week Ending 16th September 2007 from vgchartz, so apply salt according to personal taste.

Numbers Europe, Australia and Others.

WII: 96,123 - Tot: 3,359,404
X360: 37,768 - Tot: 3,511,779
PS3: 27,598 - Tot: 1,436,124

Numbers Europe only.

WII: 85,416 - Tot: 3,041,308
X360: 31,838 - Tot: 3,107,007
PS3: 20,872 - Tot: 1,223,216

I don't know where VGChartz gets its numbers from. AFAIK there's no European measures on the whole, apart from a few regional counters. Japan gets Media Create. NA gets NPD. But Europe is mostly just guess work it seems!

Chartrack ?

The point here is that your making a firm statement about european sales, without having ANY links. I dont need to reread your post, my reading comprehension is perfect in this case. YOU said bla bla bla PS3 > X360 in sales in europe. You where asked for a link, all you can show for is something from germany.

Not good enough. If you cannot back up what you say with proper sources or argument, dont say it at all.

2 countries saying the same? Italy is saying that the PS3 is selling a mere 2-3k better than the X360, after its 3rd month after launch. It doesn't really give you anything that could be remotely used to suggest that the X360 is being outsold in europe.
