Xbox 360 bought in Japan

I wanna order some Xbox 360 from Japanese supplier (5 consoles, too low price). I've heard Japanese Xboxes are contain different type of videodecoder - "Japanese NTSC". I have one simple question - would japanese Xboxes 360 work correctly in USA or Europe? Would it needed to reflash console firmware first?

I dont think it's a problem because unless you got a really old tv it will probably support pal and ntsc. You cant play pal games on it though so you'll have to import all your games and better learn some japanese Or can you also play US ntsc games on Jap ntsc?

As the previous poster said, you have to keep in mind that some Xbox games are region locked. Many are region-free though. Many online stores have lists which games are and which are not (e.g. this link of region free games)

I'm one of the few that is using a PAL 60 in the NTSC-U region. The console works fine (although I did need to procure a 110V power supply for it) however, I just have to be careful of what games I can use.
