Wireless mouse lag

I have one of those micro innavations wireless mouses, and occasionally, I'll get a lag where the mouse moves in a jagged, non-fluid motion. Usually if I bring the cradle a little closer, it'll fix it, but sometimes not. The light still blinks as fast as normal, so I'm wondering if this is software or hardware related.
I also have the mouse right next to an old monitor if that's any concern. Thanks.

Never heard of that manufacturer. You could be picking up interference from something else, since the spectrum used by mice is open to all kinds of consumer electronics. Doubt the monitor is causing it, I'd say it's simply dodgy hardware if it isn't interference.

Go for a brand name mouse next time, Microsoft or Logitech I'd say. I hear the MX1000 is really nice, but I'll wait for the bluetooth version before I make the switch.
