Which path will NV40 use in Doom3?

Your comments about not spamming him are similar in theory to why I got pissed at Hellbinder, I like that JC will still respond to emails and I am afraid that through our (the populace) negligence in spamming him or misconstruing what he says make it so he doesn't continue to respond in such a nice manner.

The thing I emailed him about was quite a while ago basically I asked why game engines didn't use an equation to make geometry b/c I had jsut taken several variable calculus and was in differential equations and many of the graphs made some excellent geometry. He told me that hardware coming in the future would have that ability, and now that I think about it that could be a pretty cool way to get "insider" info :) ... but at the time I just thought darn someone else is already doing it just like all my ideas

so even if he might otherwise like to respond to one that the "average Joe" sends, he might miss one in the spam.
Are you implying that I am somehow "average"?
I thought you were the Democratically Voted Village Idiot. How is that, "average?" :D

Well the average American is below-average... so it seems fitting. :)

Meh. It's the price we pay for having more freedom than pretty much any other nation. Breeds a lot of lazy f***s. :devilish:

Anyone think they're going to announce a release date at E3 that ends up being just before quakecon? Be nice to see some actual benchmark numbers after all this time.

From this quote I gather he's implying that the Nv35 and Nv36 are running his game quite a bit better than NV31/Nv34/NV30 cards in his ARB Code.

Given the underlying architectural improvements from NV30/NV31 to NV35/NV36, I would have thought that's obvious.

Be careful now ;) Don't want to get this moved to Religion, Politics & Socioeconomic Climate...
