which card

hi.
i am new to this forum and was hoping one of you guys will gimme some help to choose the best video card for the budget i have!
i have looked at all the ones in my price range but since i bought my gf2ti a while ago thing have changed alot.
i have around £150 for a new card and want to get something that will keep me going for a good while.
which geforce card is the best for that type of money?or would i be better gettin an ati card?
i want to play kingpin.rtcw.unreal2003 using my new card.
i am building a new pc for it to go into which basic specs are as follows
lian li case
asus a78nx Deluxe
xp2800
1gb corsair ram
maxtor 200 gb 7200 hd
s/b audigy 2 platinum
any help on the graphics card much appreciated.

£150 buys you a Radseon 9500 Pro
Seen some Radeon 9700's for about £180 somewhere.

Will also buy you a GF4 Ti4200 plus some change dunno what the GFFX 5600's will cost.

IMHO the 9500Pro's are better than the GFFX 5600's and definitely better than the GF4 series full stop.

i was thinkin on the same lines as you ,as i was pricing up the cards an reading a few reviews.
i saw the Sapphire Atlantis9500 PRO 128mb DDR for about £137 which seems good value so i rekon ill go with that one.

The Sapphire Atlantis9500 PRO looks like a very good option.
But why you will buy the Audigy 2 with the Soundstorm in the mobo?
Also the Barton 2500 looks like have much better price/performance.

I think your choice of a Creative Audigy2 platinum is an Ideal choice. I think the Sapphire 9500pro will do the Trick. A 9600pro would be good but i dont think its better than a 9500pro in anyway

Personally I believe the Soundstorm APU is quite comparable to the SB Audigy 1 and 2.
