Hi, I have a few questions for some of the people here... first of all I don't understand the whole v-ram bandwidth thing.... for instance, I don't understand where the final scene is stored before it hits the screen... I hear all this talk of "oh, 22.5 GB's won't be enough for 1080p" and I imagine the image being stored in the pipe itself, .. I just have no understanding of how this part of graphics processing works.. It doesn't seem to me like a 1080p image is too big for 22GB or what not? Could someone please help me here???
A couple of others for the road, sorry...
Does increasing the ROP's increase the fill rate? I would think that in a closed box like the PS3, you would want the same number of ROP's as pixel pipes??(if so)
and does anyone know of a site where I could learn about how graphics cards work... ?
Much Thanks
