From what i have heard from Taiwanese card manufacturers, NV18 at least is an AGP 8x part with an onboard IEEE1394 connector, hence the rumoured marketing push behind AGP 8x for streaming media rather than as a 3D performance enhancement.
And noone really knows whether anyone will actually bother with NV28, it all depends on when the eventual release of NV30 happens.
