What cooler to choose?

That is my choice, as I have worked with it in the past (even though there is the Pro model out now).

Excellent temperatures and almost silent.. amazing combination rarely found in HSF's (no I dont work for Arctic Cooling..hehe).

I'll second the Arctic Cooling heatsinks. Pretty cheap, very quiet, and shift a lot of air for the noise they produce. Check the different versions to make sure you get the right one for your CPU and get a temperature controlled fan if they do it in that model (they are ususally suffixed with "TC").

You might need to check what motherboard you have, as I found some of the motherboards with large passive heatsinks on the northbridge were very tight on space with some of the AC locking systems and needed some Dremel action to make the heatsink fit.

I'm using a Arctic Cooling Ultra 64 for right, a $12 heatsink that cools better than many $30+ heatsinks. Its a great product, very quiet and cools very well.
