What Anime are you watching now?

I just binged the first six episodes of "Isekai Ojisan" last night and damn is it good! It's about a 17 year old who's uncle got hit by a truck 17 years ago at age 17 and has been in a coma ever since. The Uncle wakes up and it turns out he woke up in a fantasy world after he was hit by a truck and was an isekai there. He's still able to do magic here if he remembers to use Japanese instead of the "Other World" language. He got hit by the truck in 99 and wakes up in 17, and he was a die hard consoller who was a Sega fanboy. He keeps wanting to know who won the console wars, Nintendo or Sega.

It's the first anime that genuinely makes me laugh out loud, and it just gets better the further it gets!

EDITED BITS: "Uncle from Another World" on Netflix, although they only have the first 5 and I finished the 6th last night. :/

I binged "Tanya the Evil" last night since I tried watching "Iseika Quartet" and realized I hadn't seen one of the series in it. Gotta watch the movie tonight, but I found the anime pretty good. Not my normal fair, but very well done and gripping.
THEN I'm gonna watch both seasons of "Iseika Quartet", I usually hate the cutesy stuff but I love all the animes that are in it.

NSFW cyberpunk anime

Reviews seem to be good. Not one to pass up if you enjoyed Cyberpunk 2077.

Everyone involved here, Netflix, CDPR and Trigger knocked it out of the park with Edgerunners. It’s a beautiful, haunting realization of Night City and the world created from the games while being a gorgeously animated, compelling character drama as well. Whether you’ve put in 100 hours into Cyberpunk 2077 or zero, I’d recommend it, but you may find yourself itching to visit Night City yourself, after you do…

I'm rewatching the entirety of "A Certain Magical Scientific" as my anime folder is labelled. Almost finished the first two seasons of Index then I'll do the first two of Railgun. I think I should have done the first season of Railgun after the first season of Index, but whatever.
Just some easy mindsoap to relax to, I need a lot more relaxing recently.

hey hey hey! Cyberpunk 2077 anime was nova!

it basically follows studio trigger's formula, but quite well executed, and the HDR that was done strategically was quite beautiful

EDIT:
talkng about the HDR, i meant like when the character talking about feeling the heat of X, X does being displayed brighter. When battles happen and sparks everywhere, the sparks does brighter.

and by "strategic", i meant that the HDR was mostly flat, and only pops on some places. but those places was the good places

yikes my english

Not sure you can but most Chinese shows have a late evening start time, ie 9:00 pm -1:00 am. If you display the airing schedule it is easier to determine the Chinese shows by the start time.
BTW, some Chinese anime are pretty good like "Swallowed Star".

Yeah, Cyberpunk was goooood. With a kill la kill vibe in the animation. Really a good job converting this world into a anime.

Yeah, it also follows a more western approach on storytelling.

Normally anime relies on "tell, don't show" so much, the characters loves to monologues for no reason.

Cyberpunk did the opposite. It follows "show, don't tell" formula where the more episodes you watched, the more gets explained from what was shown.
