Visible mipmap boundaries on Nvidia

Hey I don't know if this is the correct forum but I need some help.

I've got a PNY 7900GS 256MB and in every game I play I can see the mipmap boundaries. I have 8xAF forced in every game I play but I can still see it. Even when I don't have it on I can still see the sharp edge.

Here's a pic about the issue on a Nvidia card for Doom 3.

I get this in every game I play with any filtering options.

Anyone know how to fix this?

By best quality, AlphaWolf probably means 'High Quality' filtering. There's an option you actually need to set to that, which forces proper trilinear everywhere rather than the hacky mess of other settings. Are you absolutely sure that it is set to that setting? (of course, it has a performance hit...)

In the Nvidia control panel I got "Texture Filtering - Quality" Set to High quality.

Do you know the option to force proper trilinear? I got both anisotropic optimization options off.
