I hope that will mean upping the framerate in SP and the resolution in MP
Dear God this 7th Core thing is the new secret bolognese sauce. We'll never hear the end of it.
Not until they unlock a bit of the 8th core. And maybe some of the ARM core!!!Dear God this 7th Core thing is the new secret bolognese sauce. We'll never hear the end of it.
No but other things could which may be reserved for the GPU for now but may be suitable for the CPU. In addition we dont know how close to the 60fps mark SP runs if framerate is unlocked.Resolution has nothing to do with CPU... And it is not like they double CPU and GPU power for mp
I'm sure the fuse in the electric plug can also squeeze a tiiiiiny little bit of power. Fuse Blast Processing. Not until they unlock a bit of the 8th core. And maybe some of the ARM core!!!
Next year PubesFX.

Yep, hopefully it's gonna help them stabilize the framerate in the MP. Contrary to others devs that can already do that with only 6 cores in multiplat games and with a higher number of players too, Naughty Dog seems to struggle this gen with the hardware.

I think he is talking about this video:
And the fact that ND had to go from 1080p60 on SP (as target) to 1080p30 actual and move to 900p60 for the MP. I wouldn't call it "struggling" but they definitely haven't delivered on their initial promise/claims/target framerate. And the part about multiplatform devs and 60 fps is most probably aimed for Dice and Battlefront in specific (a very impressive looking game on both PC, Ps4 and X1 and a solid performer as well). I think they were too quick to talk about framerate and resolution, that was back in 2014.
