Uncharted 4: A Thief's End [PS4]

Remember every last level of an Uncharted game has that grand epic scenery of some ancient lost city, it's almost like they upped the geometry density and effects a few times over a standard level. I wonder how crazy UC4's ending level would look, the amount of destruction, physics, nature elements must be molesting the poor PS4 to a whole new level. Those well rendered explosions and thick plumes of volumetric smoke from the motorbike chase sequence, it's just the tip of the iceberg guys.

Exactly, i am very excited about the things we haven't seen yet, and we'll probably won't see till the game ships. I trust the dogs after their last few games to deliver something special.

Every last level has had a bit of that rushed production feeling to them as well, not that they are terrible, but they've never felt as polished as the game's better moments. I hope this mens this is gonna be an exception.

I can barely remember any of Uncharted which I've not played for 5-6 years. I lent my copy to somebody but forgot who so I'm actually looking forward to replaying it. I do recall the QTE finale though.

Are you sure ? Looks like the same setting as during Gamescom earlier this year. There they had the hotel + helicopter level from UC2. The home screen on the
right suggests if UC4... I'm sceptical

This looks really polished, can't wait to play the beta!
That was so free-flowing it looked scripted. I'm sure it wasn't but it looked like it was. If this is how well the multiplayer is I may actually try some multiplayer.

The fluent camera switches obviously show this isn't live gameplay unless they have a really awesome spectator mode implemented.

The multiplayer always has been really awesome however. Hope I have time when the beta runs between 4-12 Dec.

Given most of their game's cutscenes were generated by the game engine they very likely do have very good capture and camera composition tools.

Live gameplay from gamersyde at PGW

Also, it's 900p apparently (to hit 60 fps) http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2015-10-27-uncharted-4-multiplayer-will-be-60-frames-per-second

Edit: Just looking at that, single player is going to be a looker at half the refresh rate.

Perspective cropped two stills from the gamersyde video, looks like both volumetric lighting and great looking GI make it into multiplayer despite being 60 fps

The only thing i am worried about is the aliasing but we'll have to wait and see in the beta
