Dude seriously with the huge amount of pictures. I get it, you like making GIFs but these aren't even of Uncharted. Just post links to pictures and GIFs. People who want to see them will click them. Take a leaf out of Karamazov's book.

For the love of god, please stop bloating all threads with megabytes of bloody pictures!!! :devilish:

I'm trying to reduce the size of the pictures and gifs (lower resolution, more compression [jpeg instead of png]). I don't get what is the meaning of supporting image tags in a forum if most of the users are against them (on a graphics forum no less). Maybe have an option for users to decide if they want active image tags or not.

Fyi all the images and gifs posted in this page combined are just over 9 mbs. In what part of the world is that unreasonable? I live in one of the worst countries when it comes to internet providers and internet connection (most of it is still using copper wires instead of fiber optics) and even i don't have a problem.

You can also ignore me if you don't want to see my posts (click on my name -> ignore), iirc it removes my posts entirely when you load a page.

Now now play it nice people :). I enjoy looking at Clukos' gifs and comparisons, he seems to be very thorough about it and they do get revealing sometimes. But of course as long as they're not too off topic or mammoth in size. As for the pier cutscene maybe it's using SSR altogether due to the possibility you can roam around afterwards?

I fully agree but not everything needs to be embedded right in the forum where it's forced to load. There are these new fangled things called links. They'll be everywhere soon, you mark my words! But I solved the problem with an option in the forum settings.

There's a problem with pictures and loading. Whenever I click a thread to see a new post(s), I'm instead taken to the first picture and have to watch it load. Everytime I enter the thread. Maybe that's Firefox being stupid with caching? Or maybe I'm just exiting before all the images are loaded and cached?

I get this too in both Safari and Chrome on OSX. Never solved it.

If it helps, another example of what i posted in the previous page

Shader LOD.

As for not using SSR in cutscenes:

So my impressions of the tutorial:

+ AA is exceptionally good. It makes the game almost looks like native res.
+ Input lag is low
+ Graphics are good notably in a 60fps game.
+ Destructible environment

- I am still not convinced by the general style of the game, hard to explain why. My best explanation how to formulate this would be: "I don't believe it" or "Yep, this is a videogame".
- Camera acceleration is not good, even set to max. Way too slow at first then suddenly too fast. Too much artificial inertia which some could mistake as high input lag, which is a pity because the game has low input lag.
- As expected after having seen the screenshots the motion blur is incredibly too heavy even at low velocity. They clearly abused with the effect. It's particularly disconcerting for a 60fps game and makes me feel uneasy notably when you turn the camera to see around you. Combined this with the awkward camera, the game feels and looks rather bad in motion.

i hope this time i'll be able to play more than 5 seconds per match before getting disconnected, couldn't during the whole first beta, only had to play the tutorial.

Five seconds not enough time to snap a picture? You're slipping...

Wow the tutorial is boring.

Then watched GATE anime then free time has ended.

Ugh. Hopefully play in about two hours from now
