I'm excited. The first one was good fun and hopefully the 2nd one keeps it going.

Yeap. Even my mom and dad liked the movie when I showed it to them on bluray. It was fun to see my dad have his jaw hanging in some of the scenes.

Transformers 1 was as bad as Con-Air. I can't believe I sat through it. Mainly it was to settle a disagreement with my father to see if it's worse than Con-Air. (On the one hand, it had giant robots, which are okay, but it also had that bizarro masturbation discussion, which was terrible. But Con-Air had "put the bunny back in the box" which almost made up for a lot of it.)

I love how the movie managed to kill the mood of the only good scene in the entire movie.

The music was epic. Meteors come crashing down. Optimus freaking Prime shows up, then Ratchet goes: "Judging by the boy's pheromone level, I think he wants to mate with the female."

    I curl up and cry.

Nope, that's just ONE of the Constructicons that form Devastator.

Exact response from my parents. Even my sister was hooked to this movie.

Looking pretty cool! I enjoyed the first one for its great special effects, plus I liked the idea of a live action Transformers movie. Overall I am more hyped for Star Trek though, which I though had a better Super Bowl commercial.

Ah, that explains it then. I loved Con-Air. Absolutely awesome. Much better than Transformers too (better story, better actors), although Transformers makes up for a lot of it thanks to the absolutely jaw-dropping special effects, and impressively (and unlike anything I remember about Transformers) the story wasn't half-bad either. It was obviously not great, but still decent.

Count me among those that look forward to the sequel then!

As long as it has more robot screen time and less human bullshit it should (hopefully) be better than the first one which IMO was average. (remember... just IMO, I'm sure the majority thought it was awesome)

..oh and please have a decent final battle instead of that lameass one in 1.

To me, the final battle was the best part of the movie. Along with "he wants to mate with the female".

there wasn't nearly enough screen time for the Megatron vs Optimus battle and other than the beginning of it, their battle was pretty lame. It should have been a battle of epic proportions! :) with no human interference...

I don't know, seems to me that without the humans involved, the movie would've been kinda "soulless"... :)

Not that it wasnt good but it could have been much better.

Also the whole OP gets his ass kicked only to have Shia la Douche defeat Megatron was kinda lame. Any its sorta strayng off topic.

I liked the barricade bumble bee car chase scene, although you could tell that they couldn't add more special effects and explosions due to constrained movie budget.

O and how can people forget the F-22s/starscream fight scene. Breath taking stuff.

Hopefully this time around, OP wont be manhandled so much (although I guess he did make bonecrusher his you know what).

Hilarious thread title, now I think the movie is about a really angry and disgraced teaser trailer. The trailer goes on a rampage to revenge all the bad things the filmmakers did to it.
