The reason I still have not seen this movie is Bad Boys 2. Bad Boys 2 was one of the most painful movies I've ever seen. I started fast forwarding through most of the movie to get to the action scenes, and eventually I started skipping through the action scenes. The running time in Bad Boys 2 was WAY too long, and when I saw that Transformers 2 was two and a half hours, I was scared. Michael Bay should stick to movies under two hours.

Thank you so much for that review, I feel much better that I never bothered to go out and actually pay to see this movie.
To be honest, it makes me want to see it more. Sometimes I love shitty movies, because I'll laugh start to finish.
You're missing out. I LOVED the first one, and I really enjoyed the second. I went to see it at the IMAX again last night. To all the reviewers that say that it's "so bad it's bad, it's never good", I would say "nay". Once you watch it a second time, you know when the ludicrous parts are coming, and me and my girl were laughing AHEAD of the scene.
I laughed pretty much all the way through it the second time. And not because it's funny.
Still, big robots, big screen = win.
What?! I just watched this last week again, and loved it! The entertainment, the action, the humour is awesome. Different people, different tastes I guess.
I like that movie quite a lot actually. Some parts were in typical Michael Bay fashion a bit drawn out and ridiculous but nothing I could not deal with. Some parts were actually quite funny in that movie and I definitely liked the action!!
I like action and explosions as much as anyone else. The thing for me is, you shouldn't have to lobotomize yourself for two hours to enjoy it.
