Top 100 Selling Games Last 12 Months (All Platforms)

Nobody knows.
Any proof?
So what?
Wow! Great in-depth discussion there! ;) The reason 86k in the first month is important is because titles tend to sell a big lump up front. They certainly sell more in the first month than other months as there's a rush for ownership from those who have been excitedly following the game's development. 86k per month would imply lower sales every other month, which means very low sales for the title. In NA.

Not always true though.

Depends on marketting, consumer knowledge, extended campaigns etc.

depends more on the type of title and the release date. Shovelware (kids/casual movie IP stuff) tends to have better legs than games targeted at a more hardcore (traditional gamer) audience. Games released earlier in a year tend to sell longer, because the xmas season can cause a resurgence in interest (although that does depend some on marketing).
