TXBOX has an article up about this game,
and one little bit that caught my eye and made me dance:

That's sealed it for me. I absolutely loved NFS Porsche 2k, possibly my favorite arcade racer of all time.

The game also looks fantastic now that it has anti-aliasing (well, most of those have AA...). The motor-bike shots look great as well.

yup seeing that cycles are in the game as well sealed it for me, so between this and Viva Pinata I ahev my online and MMO driving and gardening fix ;-)

Well then it seems like it takes place on either Maui or the Big Island. I'm on Oahu now and nothing in any of those pics looks familiar.

It takes place on Oahu, and according to the developers the entire island is fairly accurately modeled.

wow, this game really has come on in leaps and bounds.....


I'm actually really interested in it now after havign read up onit a bit more - sounds amazing! i hope the handling falls somewhere near pgr3 though, i feel they have a nice balance between full blown arcade and sim.

I heard that they are making it like the old games in the series and making it more sim-like.

I have ot admit that when I first saw this from E3 last year, I was very disapointed, but in the last 9 months it has gone from crap to great. This is a Test drive that I'm actually looking foward to, now that's a first.
