A podcast app is ok, but not absolutely necessary. I have bookmarks to the download pages of the podcasts I'm interested in, and that works quite well. Radio streaming would be great though. Looks like I could listen to Radio Paradise through it for instance, and that's my favorite channel.

Even better would be if we get this for PS4 and it works in the background ...

Tried TuneIn ... good number of radio available, but the audio quality is disappointing ... will be more interesting for talk radio than music if it stays that way.

I heard game developers can't access the audio hardware directly. They have to go through Sony's audio API.

Sony may have a way to do it.

No one knows yet. Music Unlimited is the only announced app that supports background playback (with games) so far.
