So it wasn't an illusion. We really had a thread which was the other way around. Maybe they dropped each other

silly me , i meant to say that team Bondi haven't said they dropped Sony , i was in a hurry

The actual article linked via digg doesn't indicate who dropped who. It just tells that Take Two instead of Sony will now be publishing the game. It mentions that it was originally signed by SCE which doesn't seems to be the case as mentioned in other thread on beyond3d. If the "acrimonious falling out" between Brendan McNamara & Phil Harrison is the case then its surprising that SCE even started with Team Bondi on this project.

The most likely reason is that it didn't made commercial sense for SCE & Team Bondi but speculations are always more fun
