Interesting, from the looks of it I wonder if this is an acquisition focused more on facilitating technology sharing between the various studios.
Alternatively, a mobile (not mobile devices but mobility) development team that can be re-tasked to help internal studios during crunch time in order to reduce the crunch time load on developers. In military terms, a reserve force that can be used to reinforce military forces that are under greater than expected duress.
If it's the latter, I really like the move. Anything that would help reduce the effects of crunch time on peoples lives and health would be fantastic.
