Post EVIDENCE that Sony ripped off Asimo, or go have yourself a nice cup of STFU, thank you. "Look at the ankle joints!" looks like a seriously bad excuse to me. So what, it has ankle joints, is that supposed to be news to anyone?

If Sony had REALLY ripped off Honda, there'd be a lawsuit heading Sony's way you can count on it.

actually its not illegal to reverse engineer anything . You just can't steal the tech.

Fair enough, but keep in mind that I wasn't talking about bits and pieces of technolgy. I was talking about the whole package. ASIMO is the whole package. HONDA took bits and pieces of technology and make a complete package (ASIMO). SONY bought an ASIMO, reverse engineered it, then made a smaller/cheaper version.

Nope, I don't buy it. Innocent until proved gulity ... I don't trust you nor Sony, but it's your claim and so it's your debt to deliver some hard evidence

A patent would cover a design even if it was scaled down after being ripped off by another corporation.

That Sony's bot looks a bit like Honda's bot on the surface doesn't mean Sony ripped off anyone.

BTW I doubt you can find evidence to prove SRX was not a blatant copy of ASIMO technology either
