So, NV30 will not be fall product, and miss this year?

I have not been keeping up on the Nv30 even though I'm quite interested in its technology. besides there are far too many rumors going around.
What is the latest on it?

Everything seems to indicate Nv30 will miss being Nvidia's fall product (Nv28 will take that spot) and probably not even make it out this year?

If so, that is extremely disappointing. Nvidia is going to take a hit.
though they have been in FAR worse situations (NV2) in the past.

Before this thread gets closed, I better clear up all the confusion!

The NV30 is real, all the performance figures you have seen are real too. I have seen it in action my friends, and I can say that its going to be awesome!

You all know that the Quakecon was on recently, sponsored by ATI, well recently a similar event like this was held down here in Australia.
It was in a secret location in Alice Springs, and only invited guests were allowed in. The event was called VapourCon, they were showing early builds of Duke Nukem Forever running on NV30 boards.

Whoa, what a show. I can't say more, due to NDA's.... I hope you all understand.

Wow, thanks for the info Fuz! You better delete your post though before your source finds out you leaked this info.

Oh Really?

I just heard that Bitboys will name their chip as "Paavo Nurmi 3D". (other choices were: "Kimi Raikkonen 3D", "Lasse Viren 3D" and "Tommi Makinen 3D")

I really can't talk more about it because I have NDA to all Nurmi material... Sorry. ;)

I'm not going to discuss what I can't discuss. However, the conversation was accurate and on the record. Shrug :) doesn't matter , what I REALLY want is a AIW 9700 before Christmas running at full speed or a "Personal Cinema NV30" before Christmas oh and under $400 too! *ben looks at his computer and smiles at the thought but thinks better of it and goes back to lurk mode after making sure the screw is tight on his videocard ;)

But funny is usefull too.
I wish I had visited VapourCon, imagine how high one can fly

I could sell ya very cheap AIW Radeon 32 MB AGP PAL. :) This one has even fancy HW T&L. and because you are such good guy, I can sell this as cheap as... $250? excluding taxes and shipping. ;)

so what you say? ;)

Eh , I have every AIW product since the AIW Radeon 32 , why would i need another . I miss the TV tuner on this card :(

Guys, seriously, let's turn this discussion into something useful!

Damn right! Grow up people, you all make me sick!!! :devilish:

I felt like a kid in a candy store. You would have loved it. I am writing a short article on the event. Here is a taste "I had a quick talk with Brian Burke. He hinted at the possibility of reviving the Voodoo brand name, he also let slip that he has already ordered his Radeon 9700 PRO".
