Rise of the Tomb Raider [XO, XOX, X360, PS4, P4Pro]

I'm guessing...it'll be too much for them to work on the PS4 port as well :/ Since they are already doing the PC port.

At most it might be unlocked. I don't think we'll get to 60, but i do know that they are probably going to have a decent amount of GPU overhead just from where they started with the XB1 version already being 1080p. Is ROTR CPU bound?

I would assume that's not the case, on PC the reboot scaled incredibly well with GPUs. It even had even scaling in a 4x Crossfire/Sli setup.

Other than HBAO+ and penumbra shadows every other feature is present in the Xbox One build. Anisotropic filtering levels, interactive vegetation and terrain tessalation are all present but all handpicked by the devs Throughout the game so that they are only present it places where the FPS doesn't tank.
IQ and FX are close enough.

PC wins, first week Rise of the Tomb Raider sales surpass the first week combined sales of the Xbox One and X360 versions. PC gamers piracy and all, yeah

what is the meaning of denuvo?

New DRM from the creators of SecuROM. No piracy because the latest iteration can't be cracked as of yet. I am guessing most AAA releases on PC will be moving to Denuvo, JC3, MGSV, RotTR and some others are already using it.

Another thing I had noticed during my first time viewing is some animation problems. Compared to what we're seeing on Uncharted and The Order, this is a bit lacking:

VS the Order:

Please focus on the sliding feet on TR and well grounded feet on The Order. Ready At Dawn did an amazing job.
Any Uncharted game is floatier than what is seen in that GIF.

Bit of an old discussion but i think we can finally put it to rest, i finished the game and can definitely comment on how floaty TR is sometimes.

It seems like the game has two animations (running/walking) and when you try to shift between them this happens: http://gfycat.com/FrailDaringDorking

Animation in RotTR is good, but not comparable to Uncharted 4 or TO1886.

They just announced the ps4 version, and it seems like they listened and added TAA to reduce the shimmering, some gameplay footage from ps4 from ign

Edit: hopefully we'll get the same AA on X1 and PC when they get updated with the new content

Yep, the major flaw in the presentation is aliasing. If they can also improve that on PC and/or X1, it'd be great.

Where's you find the details on the addition of temporal AA anyway? I can't find anything about it.
