7.1 INCH

Just speakers at the back of the device :/
My Tv hasn't got dolby surround, but it does make '3D' sound with dolby pro logic II... (Zelda: TWW to name one)

no no no no no

it says 7.1CH as in 7.1 Channel. as in 7.1 surround sound. which is way overkill.

and either way, 7.1 INCH speakers... how "handheld" would that be???

Ok, my mistake :)
But it would be funny to see an 7.1 inch speaker on a 4 inch? handheld

I mean, 7 inches is reasonably big by anyone's standards, above average at least, had bigger but hey.... oh sorry we're talking about PSP...

creepy

Funny thing is that the same thing happened to me at GA about two minutes after that post.

creepy, ye ;)

Fredi

oh dear there must be a bug in the matrix!!! it will crash!!! our brains wont take the shock... my REAL body will die!!!! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

oh dear... too much coffee

8 MB eDRAM.

+2 MB eDRAM and another MIPS core, dual cores already.

PSP Graphics Core 1:
- 3D Curved Surface + 3D Polygon
- Compressed Texture
- Hardware Clipping, Morphing, Bone(
- Hardware Tessellator
- Bezier, B-Spline(NURBS)

What's this ? Is this hardware different from the VU in the PSP core ?

PSP Graphics Core 2:
- Rendering Engine + Surface Engine
- 256bit Bus, 1-166 MHz @1.2V
- VRAM :2MB (eDRAM)

Another 2 MB eDRAM ? 12MB Total, plus all the other stuffs, pretty darn crazy for handheld, but then again this is late next year.

Battery life, who knows. :)

I wonder when the first PSP/GameCube comparisons will surface. Graphics Core 2 looks a lot like Flipper on paper... only clocked slightly faster. Fun times ahead

There must be something wierd with those specs, something that triggers a bug in the matrix. ;)

Fredi

it must be THE password!!! the one that will set us free!!!

Now we just need to find out how to use it. 8)

Neo? Any hints? ;)
