RR for PSP looks good, but I think its a decent step down from GT3 in terms of geometry, lighting and texture quality.

i find the super glossy finish to the screen annoying. i find the response time on the screen disapointing (the ngpc had no ghosting but it's rampant on some psp games). the only things i like about the screen are the size and the aspect ratio. i don't mean to be down on it, it's a nice screen overall, but i think the rest of the package outshines the screen.

(Actually, could make for a decent ad campaign to toute the PSP's ease-of-use: "Even Paris Hilton can operate it!". Damn, bet Jobs is fuming he missed out on that one to promote the Mac Mini.)

I fingered the power switch and the unit came to life in her hands. She gazed at it excitedly, a gasp escaping her lips as it reacted to her button presses.
“I don’t know what I’m doing,†the test subject said, though that didn’t deter her from pressing buttons and looking at the different menus. I realized I had forgotten to insert a UMD.
She probably uses it to watch her own homemade porn videos.
It's possibly the leading portable 3D rendering technology. There are a number of chip companies that you might have heard of that are using it inside their own products and they, in turn, sell on to device manufacturers.Kolgar said:Lazy8s said:Kolgar:
MBX has been available since 2003.I'm guessing technology and cost. Until now, it wasn't feasible to build such a small device with so much functionality and power. And the costs would have priced this way out of the mass-market range.
MBX? Forgive me, but what is MBX?
It might mean MoBile (with an X on the end for good measure)Perhaps it's an obscure acronym
There are going to be PDAs and phones with PSP-like performance so it all depends if you consider those devices as mass-market.and if I heard the actual product name I'd recognize it right away. If not, then perhaps this goes to my other point, which is that few companies are able to successfully bring to market a high-performance, mass-market portable like PSP - and garner enough support for it to make it relevant. Certainly, this one isn't ringing any bells with me.
