[PS3] Uncharted 2

Even the first Uncharted had great IQ, and the sequel appears to do better, so what horrible aliasing are you talking about ? And I don't understand the whole "to mask the limitations" thing...So the developer chose a style in order to fool us into believing the console is powerful and the game impressive ?
would you care to explain ? :???:

Quote. I mean it's really absurd talking of limitations now...every close system has limitation compared to pc. Has been proved ps3 isn't so different of 360 in a textures details, why again this story? :???:

Betanumerical, are you still looking for a code ?

Nope, the one I got off deepbrown worked perfectly! just had a match then, good fun controls are easy too.

Give it to Phil I'm pretty sure hes still after one.

I couldn't workout how to get into co-op could only find the deathmatch menu / option.

On the first screen click below on game type, hit X and then move the left thumbstick letf or right for the co-op option.

I'd love a code for the Beta, if anyone has an extra one.

I can't wait for this game, it looks amazing.

Hey davygee, I looked through the thread and indeed found Phil's request earlier. Here's a belated b-day present then, Phil. Check your PM.

One gaffer has already reached level 50 , which you need to collect $3.000.000 :D... I cant even find a game to play most of the time because of matchmaking but he reached level 50 , insane ...

The MP in UC2 is pretty boring and feels tacked on.Lucikly, the campaign is going to be pretty good unlike the boring mp portion of the game.

Guess it's a matter of taste? I for one like it quite a bit. Sure, it can definitely be fleshed out, but this is a good start and shows that the Uncharted controls and gameplay work in a multi-player environment. And I'm having fun with it too. I see a lot of potential that I'm hoping they will flesh out, and come up with some more original play-modes as well. I see some nice opportunities.

It definitely is a matter of taste but since you are having fun with UC2's mp, that is awesome. The potential is there but it would have great if ND got assistance on the mp from other dev's who have experience in making a multiplayer component.Im buying UC2 for the campaign to be honest with you.

What were you expecting from the MP mode?

I'd like to know what it is that some of you don't like as well. Of course there could be more options but I'm 100% sure what we have right now is only a fraction of what will be available at launch. ND's support has been quite good as most of the major bugs are fixed in the coming patch. They even snuck in 50 kills (up from 25) when people complained the games were too short. This is all within one week of Beta.

The MP is exactly as I imagined it would be. The wall mechanics, flanking, and even the maps are all well thought out. I also love plunder's take on CTF... it's not the first time flags can be thrown for team-play style points, but it feels a lot more deliberate as opposed to flag throwing in say the Halo series where the flag drops only a little bit in front of you. I've seen the treasure thrown behind cover perfectly for the receiver to run away safely.

Again, I'm curious what some are expecting and feel disappointed about. Perhaps it will give me a different perspective. I'm pretty picky when it comes to shooters.
