I havent played Gears 1 in ages, and never played gears2, but i was under the impression that maximum sens in gears was significantly higher than max sens in uncharted 1 ?

Just want to ask ND for one favor…..PARTY SYSTEM.

You’ve got it! The party system is already in and working great!
You're going to be able to save entire multiplayer matches to your hard drive and then edit them and view them in Cinema Mode. Rotating the camera at will and zooming in on specific fights will be just some of the commands you have for the ten cinema save slots at your fingertips. Naughty Dog didn't show the mode, but it definitely sounds interesting.
Offline is better, but that's asking a great deal for splitscreen on ND's engine. That they've added cooperative gameplay, and for more than 2 players, should be recognised as a Great Thing.Cornsnake said:Yeah, the IGN preview says its online co-op only. Which is a damn shame. I prefer to play co-op with my friends in the same room, especially since not all of them own a PS3.
Watch the vid. They seem to have this. eg. In CTF, the flag is a piece of treaure, and you can pick it up and throw it to teammates. If the drop-off point is high, you can throw it up to an ally rather than work your way around the scenery.OK so I've been asking for multiplayer.
But lets hope there is more to it than shooting.
Some hand-to-hand combat, stealth, platforming would be nice. That is, to retrieve objects, you have to work to get there, not run and gun and pick up weapons or whatever like any other shooter.
Now that does sound quite interesting I have to admit, though the strength of Superman alone is quite enough for me already. Day one purchase in any case for me.There will be a party system!
From PhilB's link:
It's starting to look a little like Superman is teaming up with Brainiac more and more (see top of previous page for reference).

Maybe you jump up on ledges and you try to beat your opponents to some spot with objects or maybe tactical advantage. Or you fight on ledges and platforms and try to prevent opponents from reaching some spots.
Maybe have double-teaming in hand-to-hand combats. Or if your female teammate is squaring off against a male opponent, you jump in and take her place.
Remember, the first trailers of this series was Nathan doing acrobatic moves all over.
Those aspects should be carried over to multiplayer but the easy thing to do would be to concoct another online shooter.

And if that's the case, why not support 2 players offline, even if they need to cut back a little more, the co-op is treated as a separate mode anyway.
The hands on impressions articles from the press generally steer me away from those "worries". BTW, Insomniac just didn't have enough time (1 year).True, but they probably need to remove things from the SP levels to accommodate 3 players, and the amount of enemies to keep them busy. And if that's the case, why not support 2 players offline, even if they need to cut back a little more, the co-op is treated as a separate mode anyway. To me it seems they simply chose not to support 2 players offline, rather then it being a technical limitation.
That makes it seem like they're just adding checkbox features to the game, rather then creating something that truly adds value.
I'll probably buy the game regardless of how the co-op turns out, I just hope they don't repeat Insomniac's mistake of trying to add everything anyone ever asked for, and end up with a bunch of watered down games modes.

Insomniac had 2 years, and should have known what they could or couldn't do within that time frame.
