I loved how they had conversation during the game too. Prince would talk to himself, or to the girl. They would make me laugh while I was searching for solution to a room. It added a lot to the game.


As far as the story is concerned.. it will be interesting to see how they approach a Sands of Time sequel. Since <SPOILER hehe> at the end of the game none of it ended up happening</SPOILER> They could do multiple takes on the same story even.

It's a shame the game has little replay value, but I found it completely captivating for as long as it lasted. For about 3 days I did little more than POP. I just had to see the end. I'm surprised it sold as well as it did, considering that the XBox and GC versions will only be released at the end of february on the continent.

I havent finished PoP, but i still much prefere ICO to it. As good as PoP was (with all its faults too), Ico is still probably my top game this generation. Incredible...

PoP still felt like a "game with the cheesy plot", you know, the "sands of time" the killing monsters, the turning back time....

My sentiment exactly, shared by my wife as well. Ico was so incredibly free of 'made for masses' feel. Still, PoP was way above most games I can think of from last year. I enjoyed it a lot.

PoP is good though I hate random battles....they are tooo long, too many enemies. I am stuck near end....it is 95% done, I have to jump (a la Splinter Cell) through a wall but I can't do it...I tried atleast 20 times but ...it is where you have to reach at the top of the fort (or whatever it is). Can anyone help?

PoP4 was one of the best games of last year, IMO. I can't wait for the sequel.

Definitely a good deal like ICO, although I've only played ICO once. (the demo)

I've read reviews, comments, and seen screenshots though. Yeah, PoP4 is like ICO gameplay-wise.. maybe better.

Please do give ICO a try. The demo was very short and gave a very little idea of the beauty of the game. You should find the game in the second hand big for nothing... Really, treat yourself, it really is an amazing game...

Its a bit like PoP but with much less fighting, it is more artful and "dreamy". PoP is more like a "game"... Not sure how to explain it...
