I'll probably give it a go in RT/30 mode, cause you all know how I love spending time looking at my own reflection!
You better avoid becoming a vampire then...

rx5700xt 1440p 42fps, 2060super rtx on 1440p 23fps...
You should be more optimistic. That way later on you can be more disappointed. Can't say that I'm expecting either console to have any excellent RT implementation on par with Nvidia cards.
but we will analyze one scene with frame drops ;dWell, lets safely assume the console versions wont be running 23fps or something like that, settings will be altered and all will be good (for most people).
Have target framerates and resolutions been announced for Control on PS5? I seam to remember the vanilla 2060 being able to do 4k 30fps in that game with DLSS on and RT on the highest settings, but I know the DLSS implementation has changed in that title so who knows now.

NOTE: Only the Performance mode is available on Xbox Series S. It is targeting 60fps with no ray tracing, at 900p render resolution, and 1080p output. This is a limitation of the hardware, not the game.
Don't know in what way they're saying it's a hardware limitation (design? GDK limitations?)
edit: sorry wrong thread, thought post was about medium ;dI checked out PC benchmarks of Control earlier and the game is quite heavy even with RT=off. The Nvidia 2080S didn't appear to be able to hit a consistent 60hz at 1440p (everything other than RT maxed out). I can only assume the consoles, even though they're at 1440p, are not at max settings with or without RT.
Only performance mode at 900p upscale to 1080p on Xbox Series S at 60 fps, no raytracing.

Remedy tells it like it is in my experience. When I interviewed the team at Gamescom - they said sooo much unfiltered. It was amazing. That's one straightforward answer. Nothing bad about the comment, just unexpected that's all.

Man still no xray of the ps5 apu
Surely you can take a picture of something you have bought, without repercussions? In this case it's an X ray pictureIs there some sort of lawsuit bait if the people scan them and release it to the public? It's so weird.
It's probably quite a mundane reason, like somebody has the PS5 but they just can't physically access to the equipment to remove the APU and get it setup for an x-ray scan. This is not exactly "essential work" as permitted by most countries currently in lockdown! ;-)Surely you can take a picture of something you have bought, without repercussions? PS5 are in short supply, so nobody wants sacrifice their console?
I assume you'll have one by tomorrow thenI don't know.
It's not that rare? It's just $ 230 more expensive. (700+ from scalpers)
For $ 230, sounds like super cheap for some e-brownie points if you already have access to a scanner.
