Playstation 3 e3 thread 4

I would like to never see another link to Major Nelse or another RSXvsR500 comparison, and start talking about the games. And I mean real games where we are not debating realtimes either. Frankly, I would prefer to be enticed with KZ2 stuff whether it bears fruition or not, than be underwhelmed by pre-alpha design models running at 5 fps.

Some real interesting stuff here.

Ah, a careful political answer! So with the PS3's multiple USB slots, is it possible to utilise more than one EyeToy?

Richard: Yeah, there's already potential to use two EyeToys on PS2 already, so you could use multiple cameras on PS3.

Ron: All six of them?

Richard: You could use six! [laughs]

You could set up your own Big Brother house!

Ron: [To Richard] We'll have a chat later about what concepts we could come up with using multiple cameras!

and

So do you think it's true Minority Report territory?

Richard: I think we can do what they did in Minority Report, for sure.

What u-force? Is this a joke?

the u-force was a controler for the nintendo . It was basicly a case that opened up and had two screens . You can move your hands in the air between the two screens . It would move the characters on the screen just like in minority report . TO make them jump or perform an action you need to use a black controler with buttons that didn't have a directional pad only the a / b / select / start buttons .

I have it in storage and it worked well .

Then there is another thing which was a circle you put on the ground a ring basicly and you can do fighting moves yourself and it would make the character do it on the screen . Think it was the activator or something

A brief interview with Richard Marks

Yes , eyetoy + ps3.I can't even start to imagine what could be done.very fun things ,no doubt. With 4 usb cameras plugged in , z+color recognition.
Ps2 was too limited to push things forward, but now...
:D

and imagine 2 beamers connecto to the ps3 beaming a small room 360°

damn we can have our own holodeck!

Have you guys every been to the ESPN Zone. They have a boxing game there that you fight a computer animated guy with these boxing gloves. It was fun as hell. The camera could catch your duck moves should that when you ducked the computer would punch over your head as your boxer also ducked. The camera could also pick up the difference between a left or right straight punch, left or right upper cut, and a left or right hook.

I could see EA impletmenting this into the PS3. If not them in some developers. Imagine fighting someone over the internet while actually doing it. I know plenty of people would love this feature don't you think?
