Playstation 3 e3 thread 1

What timezone is this counting down to - http://www.us.playstation.com/Content/Sites/68/Info/default.aspx ?

It counts down to E3. Which start on Tuesday, May 17. The Sony conference is tomorrow (Monday) afternoon. But it say May 16 on the PlayStation E3 countdown page because though E3 itself don't officially start on the 16th, Sony starts their E3 program tomorrow.

19 hours and 2 minutes to go.

Yeah I know all that but it's kinda hard to figure out the exact time it's counting down to if I don't know the timezone. E3 is in LA right?

Its pst . Which is 3 hours behind est .

Pacific standard time and eastern standard time . est is 5 hours behind the time zone in london. So in london you have to add 8 hours to the clock

Sheesh if there was this much excitement over billboards and such I should've been shooting photos from my drive to work... Hell I can walk to the Convention Center in like 15min from my apt....

This is going to mean Figuroa is going to suck for diverting off a crowded 110 North in the afternoons this week...

BTW, I hear the big Sony party is going to be at Dodger Stadium this year... Hrmm, I like it in downtown better, that way I can walk home smashed...

Not only does it overshadow the E3 banner, it actually looks better.

I thought Sony is planning to only touch lightly on their next-gen plans for this E3, instead focusing on the PSP and the last flood of PS2 titles. Appears that I was mistaken.

Since people simply cannot read basic requests and instructions, this thread will remain locked until the actual E3 event begins and people have some genuine PS3 information, details, images, etc from the actual E3 shows. Who wants to read through 8 pages of off-topic material in order to find real details?

Edit: Thread has undergone some serious pruning this time; I've tried to retain as much of the on-topic material as possible. Yes I know, Sony E3 PS3 posters isn't exactly E3 information but at least it was more connected to E3 than the posts which were removed! *Sigh* When there is some news, can people just drop either myself or jvd a PM and we'll open the thread back up.
