I'm hoping for an improved Naga, because I had to trash my G900 after a second one developed Parkinson's disease in its buttons.

Never seen a mouse with such terrible buttons, I've worn out scroll wheels on a number of mice in the past but never the buttons. So I need another one and the Naga seems like the best bet for me.

a 'WASD replacement keypad' with a joystick?

but the announcement is intriguing, and may imply it's not just about a specific mouse, gamepad or other input product.

a "new world of openness", and some sense of convergence between consoles and PC.
it could mean a lot of things. I just hope it's not about mozilla currently building a joystick API into Firefox and us all switching to "cloud" playing javascript Tetris.

I would love a joystick for the left hand to replace WASD and other keyboard buttons for FPS type games. Best of both worlds (analog player movement and mouse aiming).

Wii nunchuck? Only 2 buttons though. But to me it also sounds like a typical dual stick gamepad would fit. Mouse control is much more accurate than a joystick though I think. That old argument. I've met people who played shooters with big flight sticks though.

There was also that funky SpaceOrb 360 that I know some Descent players loved. Good for 3 axis control.

PC gaming is going the way of the arcades - still hugely popular in one region of the world and the only home to some of the best games in their genres/sub-genres. I can live with that.

Join Razer CEO & Chief Gamer Min-Liang Tan for a live presentation of Razer's new, groundbreaking project for PC Gamers worldwide. If you were impressed with Razer's Switchblade concept, which won the Best of CES 2011 People's Voice Award, Wait until you get a load of what Razer has in store for you at PAX Prime.

So it's not Switchblade, but mentioning it hints IMO that it's something similar to switchblade, but not the same.

A gaming laptop. Yawn. I notice there is no mention of battery life when gaming. I guess you'll have to plug it in, making it not as portable as the form-factor suggests. It's nothing that's going to replace a good desktop, or even add value to one, especially as rumours are of a pretty serious price.

It's got a Geforce GT 555.

Way to make a 2800 dollar laptop that's underpowered, you dumbfucks of dumbfuckness.

The only thing that's a bit interesting to me is if they use that keyboard tech for a standalone keyboard you can plug into a PC. I presume they've already got the software to drive it and manage profiles, etc.
