Otogi anyone?(New screens)(not for 56kers)

Game is coming out for Xbox august made by Sega, it's only gonna be 40 bucks. I want it bad. Now before I post the screens, this is one of those games that just look *noticably* better in motion, so don't go nuts over every inperfection

Yeah, I saw these earlier. The game got pretty good reviews in Japan. I'm guessing it controls a bit better than Gunvalkyrie.

Actually, IIRC it was made by From Software and released in Japan some time ago.. Sega is just publishing it here.

JVD, go check some movies at IGN. The game looks amazing, also looks pretty fun.

thanks for the links guys . It does look really good. Besides doom3 , halflife 2 and kotor (pc) this might be the 4th tittle i pick up this holiday season . Not much is impressing me .

Dunno Devil May Cry but the graphics of this game are impressive.

Not sure it would really be fun to play, cause there seems to be far too many things going on on screen...

Yeah sure, so every action slasher = a DMC ripoff...oh wait this game is in FULL 3D...oh wait again, since it is a japanese slasher it is sooo blatantly a DMC ripoff....oh WAIT again again! I guess DMC must have ripped off older action slasher from the 32bit era....argh! confused!!! :?

Mr Singh, who has played the game, said the graphics look Xboxly good, not Xboxly GREAT!!! but Xboxly good. 60fps, tons of onscreen action, fully destructable 3D environments, dazzling spell effects and superb textures artwork. He gave it his Japanese GOTY for 2002.

Doubters, downplay the game for what you want. Whatever. It is looking to be a great action slasher for Xbox fans. YAY to Sega/From for showing good Xbox love. Cant wait

and that's bad how? besides it looks fine in motion (not that you'll notice it get pretty phycaldelics at times).

LOOKS a bit sterile compared to ZOE2 in my opinion, even though it might end up being a better game overall....

Noticed it long ago but it didn't appeal to me, I feel that the sales is not very satisfactory as the item is selling quite cheap here (in some shops).

I didn't try it (by buying it) as I didn't like the design of that main character, the main character in Otogi 2 is more appealing to me.
