On mind

The in-line video link isn't working (for me). Anyhow, Reagan's a smooth-talker, but much of what he actually says is only relevant in the way that it's more of the same right-wing BS we're hearing lots of today.

He equates tax burden with oppression (complaining 33 or w/e cents/$ is killing america, lol - THE US IS STILL THERE 50 YEARS LATER), and states that economic freedom = freedom. Yes, that is indeed the case - FOR THE RICH. But not for everyone.

Speech is called "Ronald Reagan A Time For Choosing", that should work on a youtube search. It goes towards going beyond party lines, and balancing budget, also deals with military involvement, covers choice being between path towards the ideal or towards decay.

Oooooohhhh my goodness... The 80s. I've forgotten just how horrid that decade looked!

Plenty of scifi classics though. Although the lack of real net meant people were basically wasting time with arcane books or social activities.

No HD either. Information feeds the mind like energy feeds a system and allows it to reach new heights.

Yet there are still people who've not even heard of wikipedia on first world countries.(Their votes still count the same, even if it is TV PR based corporate bought brainwashed votes). A blessing in disguise really, for without such ignorance corporations would've trouble wrestling democratic power from the people for themselves.

A traumatizing video
