though, i don't think they could ever do the original justice. the GBA version was a nice port/update, but nothing really new.

cause they are my 2 most favorite old school games of all time, thats why!

I would rather have them ported to the psp like megaman has been converted to 2.5D...OR maybe...put on something like xbox live arcade or playstations download system.

So why would you want them converted to 2.5D, what is the point in that?

The good thing about this generation of gaming is most of those are being redone or already have been, sadly losing most of what made them great.

What was/is lost in the transition from "previous greatness" to "next gen mediocre" for you?

they look better ofcourse. and full 3d would probably ruin the nostalgia factor in those two titles. megaman maverick hunter x for psp is a great example of what im talking about, compare it to the orginal.
