NVIDIA GF100 & Friends speculation

^Benchmark and driver settings or a link?

The other card was about 50.5fps at the same settings.

So what is the conclusion on the PCper FC2 benchies?

That GF100 is 66% faster in average and it goes up to 70% in min and max frames. Not bad for a new generation. And a lot faster than GT200 -> G80 and Cypress -> rv790.
Oh, and these GF100 cards have less than 10 SM/Cluster.

The card is 23% faster than Cypress and 20% slower than Hemlock.

Just saw the Far Cry 2 chart at TechReport and the video seems very plausible. Around 84FPS @ 1920X1200 puts it right in line with what we are hearing so far. 20 to 30% faster than 5870

Tech Report tests were at very high.

85 is closer to 92 than to 71?

Driver settings are at defaults.
But i'm not sure if it's the same testing sequence.

yeah can't find out msyelf.Apart from AT,only found 8xAA figures from Tom's which is skewed for gtx285.Maybe cat 9.12 makes a difference?

edit:
Closest, firing squad's numbers from the 5970 preview.
http://www.firingsquad.com/hardware/ati_radeon_5970_performance_preview/page9.asp

4xAA 8xAF
gtx285 - 53
5870 - 67
5970 - 105

with cat9.10 so ixbt numbers look for ultra high too.

these GF100 cards have less than 10 SM/Cluster.
I'm keep reading this but can't seem to understand what you mean.
If you're talking about Fermi multiprocessors here (as in 2 SIMD blocks + LSUs and SFUs blocks) then there are certainly going to be more than 10 of them in a GF100 GeForce products. I'd say that chances of getting GF100-based products with less than 10 SMs are pretty slim.

Any info on what CPU freq?
Anyone have CPU scaling for FC2?
Also, does Havok in FC2 use the GPU or the CPU?

According to this source , the card has 448 cores only , so it could be GTX 360 .

Sources indicated that single-core version, with 448 CUDA Core of the GF 100 graphics card, 3D performance will easily exceed that same level opponents Ati Radeon HD 5870, in the mainstream games, such as: Crysis Warhead, Far Cry 2, HAWX, and Fallout 3, GF 100's performance of HD 5870, respectively 1.6 times, 1.2 times, 1.55 times and 1.2 times.

No, there should be two versions:

High-end models will deploy the full array of 16 Cluster A total of 512 CUDA Core computing unit, to support 384-bit GDDR5 memory body structure, body has a memory capacity of 1.5GB. Although the Fermi core has adopted 40nm manufacturing process, provided that such cards power up to 250W to 300W, and called for PCI-E 6-pin + PCI-E 8-pin power supply. A second level model will take away the two Cluster group memory array and a body controller, which fell to 448 CUDA Core and 320-bit GDDR5, memory body with a total capacity of 1.28GB, power consumption is reduced to 225W, and only need two PCI-E 6-pin power supply.
The performance numbers are from the 448 Core version.

Ah, now I feel stupid for ordering a HD5870.
It looks like these benchies are real...

?
Sure, you could wait another 3-4 months but then what will the price be?
Face it, with GPUs you can almost always get a nice bump if you're willing to wait a few months.

yeah, you're right. It's still a bummer tho.
Plus, a likely scenario is that this card showed in the vid is GTX360 and is going to be priced similarly to the HD 5870 and then I'm pretty screwed.
