They should turn the end game into some type of pvp. Industrialists on one side who want to expand the civilization at the center of the galaxy outward to line their pockets and environmentalists who want to keep all the wonderful planets they discovered and named over their first 30-40 hours from becoming cosmic parking lots.

I am so happy to that the starting planet IS random ! Daymeeuhn got an ominous hazardous planet setting a darker tone to the very start of the adventure while this guy gets a RnC like greener planet u can explore happily without worrying about heat/radiation etc setting a much more optimistic tone to the start of ur ride !

I think as soon as I am off land, I am just going to be an asteroid miner for a while! The guy streaming yesterday got attacked by pirates! 5 more dayum days ! The game is out there , Sony should just let it out now ,at least for psn orders

I don't watch the streams anymore (not that I watched a lot of them).
I'm worried about the survival part as it reminds me of Don't Starve, which I didn't like.
But it really looks promising, is there any kind of story btw ?

You find places, things, ships etc which reveals bits of story. Think of Dark Souls 3 like but less vague, its there if u follow it otherwise its one planet to the next till you reach the centre, Like in DS3 its one area to th enext till you reach the end. Except that all levels are random in this one so each gets a different feel from his/her campaign.

i don't think the gameplay will be particularly good(especially when engaged in activities like combat) so my guess is most people will find the game boring.

The hardcore explorers however should absolutely love it because there has never been anything comparable to it if I'm not mistaken.

TAA soon to be included apparently. Anyway, this update seems to be changing the final game a lot.

Next up we’re adding the ability to build bases and own giant space freighters. Temporal AA and my new cloud rendering tech should be coming soon too. It will really change the game again, and enhance it visually.
