Nintendo's Presentation at GDC06 by Iwata

Is it just me, REV got the same plugs as GC's PSU and DIGITAL AV?
PSU might be different or it might be the same, depends on if Rev's guts are rated for a higher wattage than the GC I suppose... With regards to the AV plug, it's supposed to be the same as the digital out on GC. That's what people say anyway, but I guess it's really just guesses at this point, considering what people have looked at so far are just mock-ups.

reading the comments to that engadget post, it seems this isn't revolution-connected at all. Rather, it looks to be about some game or other that's already been released...

 Those guys talk about Go (the old japanese game). I don't think this in any way related to Go.
Go could be the Nintendo version of Live, or the new name of the revolution or this could be a fake

EDIT: Anyway the "emulation"-part on my side probably was wishful thinking, though.

I'm actually excited about the Rev....I can't believe it. Also, considering I've never owned a Nintendo console ever! .....but thats not to say I haven't played plenty of Nintendo games.

Another rumor is that Nintendo GO is the online service Nintendo will provide to Revolution owners, or something along the lines... (online service so)

Seems they'll be opening with DS stuff - Brain Training etc. Some slides got accidently shown, before it even began, it's been delayed 10 minutes apparently, while they sort their AV out.

So far:

10:45: The keynote begins. GDC conference director takes the stage and introduces Iwata.

10:48: Talks about Nintendo's positioning in the market. Mentions how Pepsi is #1 in soft drinks worldwide by executing a disruptive strategy. Every developer understands that the three basic foodgroups are Cheetos, Dorritos and Fritos. (laughter)

10:50: The game industry is ready for disruption.

EDIT:new and more reliable live blogging: http://revolution.ign.com/articles/697/697882p1.html
EDIT2: Brain Training next

Not sure if this was mentioned... but doesn't "Go" mean 5 in Japanese? (like Suda Goichi - Suda 51). Rev is Nintendo's 5th console (NES, SNES, N64, GC, Rev), so it makes sense as a dual meaning.

Go can be 5 in Japanese. Has been mentioned before.

NoA is next
