Turok IS dead, unfortunately. It's strange how they could get so many things right in the first game and so wrong in all the sequels.
I want to be the one to do a remake of the game. Rebalance some of the weapons, spice up the graphics, add more secrets and nifty stuff. Make it so when I look down, I see my own friggin body!
That would have been way cool. Original Turok was a masterpiece held back by the crampedness of an 8MB masked ROM cart. A real console wouldn't have that limit.

But the n64 version looked better than the pc version...at least in the demo I have of it, I think it only ran in glide though so I can't run it anymore. But iirc, the special effects were crap compared to the n64 special effects, and it just looked wrong.
