New mock-up. This one looks like the most accurate to date, I think.
That mock-up looks as if it was about to transform into a car any minute ;)

I hope they'll come up with a more adequate mixture between a unique, recognizable design and a simple, clear-cut form.

Something along the lines of their "monolithic design" TV series would be great and befitting.

Why did they put two more buttons on the PS4 controller than the Vita has then?

I'm not sure if this is a serious question or not (the wording has funny implications), but technically speaking the Vita is missing both L2 and R2 along with L3 and R3. Of course it adds an additional multi-touch surface over the DS4.

Yep, L2/R2 and L3/R3 are mapped on the rear touchpad.

IMO Sony should just create an official trigger grip add on for the Vita which makes all the buttons available in a sensible way if they want to go there.

I agree with this, and double as battery pack if it's not too heavy.

I also don't mind if they RemotePlay to a PC/Mac and let me hook up a DS4 or Vita to play the game, but I understand if they want to ramp up Vita sales in the short-mid term.

Wonder how they´ll map the dual shock´s 4 touchpad. Will it use the remaining of vita´s back, or will it be mapped to the front touch screen and require you to block it with your finger whenever it is necessary.

That is a great idea to convert a portable Screen like the Vita to play PS4 games on.

As for the two buttons thingy, I'm pretty sure they are going to test the waters of this idea with the games.

And they are going to have loads of games to test, because all the PS4 games are meant to be compatible with remote play via Vita, save a few exceptions:

That seems kinda low. Everyone has been predicting $499.
What do you mean when you say "everyone"?
Because i posted this 2 months ago:
PS4 base model = $399 but small chance it being $349

PS4 premium = $100 above base model(too predictable)

In addition to that the PS4 features such as Gaikai streamed content, cross game chat, stream your games, spectate other peoples games, ability to let other people play your game remotely will require a premium Playstation account(PS + Gold or something similar).

Online multiplayer will not require a payed account, this way Sony can still brag about having free online when Xbox requires Gold membership.

I would like to add that i think there is 0% chance that the base model will be above $400, i do not believe it at all.

Amazon.de and Amazon.co.uk also woke up this morning...

You can pre-order the dual-shock 4 for 99 euro and the PS4 for 599 euro.

I hope these are "made-up" prices and not the usual EU rip off prices. I would expect both the Xbone
and the PS4 to arrive at very similar prices... ~400 euro.

Pre-order price for the Xbox One on Amazon is £599.99. Very much a placeholder number.
