becaues according to the law it is illegal for them to continue making it as is and has been for some timeTheres nothing wrong with the Dualshock 2, why change it.
but the tech itself , it will no longer be a dual shock with out a dual shock componentDigitalSoul said:Doesn't that just apply to the rumble tech. in the controller?
Not the design/appearence of the controller itself.....

It's an antiquated design that many people wouldn't mind seeing dumped. Besides, a new controller design can make for new gameplay experiences.Npl said:jvd said:becaues according to the law it is illegal for them to continue making it as is and has been for some time
Still no reason to alter the shape. Its a proven design - IMO the best Controller
Still no reason to alter the shape. Its a proven design - IMO the best Controller, could be a bit bigger and the left Analog Stick is 98% unused - but still replacing the Pad with a "Desk-Controller" is stoooooopid. If thats an optional Accessory its fine though.

That's just an excuse for mediocrity.Theres nothing wrong with the Dualshock 2, why change it.
