I dunno... when you look at the something like the one below I get the feeling there's some doctoring going one. The enviroments have a lot less of that gritty "real" feel. The reflection seems off too, but that could just be me.

Yeah but do you think its real? I hate to even question next gen games but some of the screenshots look at little too good.

Amongst other standouts, the puddles have a feathered edge (Photoshopped in) and the powerlines have no aparent aliasing.

Yes the puddle is obviously something that was put there afterwards with photoshop. The rest looks like a drawing to me anyway.

I'd say the second pic in the first post is definitely doable in game, there's nothing to my eyes that's look coldn't be done.

The third pic, could well be representative of ingame, with some filtering to make it look not so much like traditional game graphics.

The muddy puddle shot and he pic with the barbed wire in front look like they could be paintings, or part paintings part offline renders.

Look at the rubble on the left of the picture mckmas linked to. To me that looks like a photo in the background. The lighting's not 100% accurate to the rest of the scene.

In the other barbedwire camp puc, the reflection of the lookout tower is askew.

Something's very wrong with these pics. I'm not gonna look at any more pictures from any title until I'm sure they're from ingame shots (like review pics). Too much fishing for publishers going on at the moment. This gen you KNEW they weren't true to the game from the stupid AA, but for the time being we don't know what the bar is set at to recognise the phoney content.
