(AFAIK, an Xboxyde staff member was the one who actually shot the video, and put it on their site, then various sites over the web subsequently began distributing the file)

Its for the quick refrence of videos .

Its not meant for discusion. Thus a thread about it so we can discuss it .


Personaly i like the gameplay videos as we can actually see hwo the game will run. I thought this was interesting to show off the action

now im really disappointed with gr3... the detail i see in gears us waaaaay beyond at this point...

love the vid and the detail. re5 willl be awesome with textures and lighting like these

Looks good, too bad the video quality is so bad so that most of the detail is lost on the blurriness.
There seems to be a bit tearing on the game.

Yeah, that's the thing. And with more and more resources needed for art/graphics just to compete on these powerful platforms, I think we'll see even less focus where it counts. But maybe it is just the pessimist in me.

Get used to that feeling, improved tech doesnt always breed(or neccesitate) new ideas.

Yeah. It will be very interesting to watch consumer and developer reactions to Nintendo's Revolution, as thier technology is supposedly focused on new ideas.

We have 30 seconds of gameplay, you have no idea what the game is about or how it will play.

What's "next-gen" gameplay anyways? What a useless comment to make.

Once the game is reviewed we will know what the gameplay is like, until then we have graphics that look amazing and that's about it.

That's funny, I had fun playing NES games.

Meh, I think it's pretty obvious how the core mechanics work. Look at him, it looks like an fps that is zoomed out with an over the shoulder view (like conker). He shoots a bunch and throws a grenade. It looks boring. FPS really need some innovation, like classes, character advancement, ect. The best we are seeing is improvements in graphics, and on the gameplay side, sometimes we get to play with physics.

And it is very rude to simply call somebody a troll when you disagree with thier pov. Some manners would suit you.
