I didn't know that. 2-3 pics that I've seen, PS3 looked bigger.

It looks bigger because of it's shape, which is a rather ugly design imo.

How could I know that? That subject never came up during our pillowtalk!

All I did was ask for a link because I had never heard that before and I could not find it on google.

I don't save links for years in case someone asks some time in the future. Seems google doesn't either, because I've tried to find images myself, but you just can't get any hits anymore. Too many newer pages with the relevant search keywords in 'em show up first, making it nearly hopeless to locate the right pages. Try the special Edge PS2 issue, they dissect one there and you get to see the sink in its full glory. Macabre's sink is similar, but the original one was even more extreme than that. It had lots of individual pins behind the fins for example, and the fins themselves were a lot thinner and joined together by a bridge at the top.
