For a memory card? Remember this isn't the same as their much-vaunted 'removable storage.' They also say there will be a 1GB memory card sold as well; that frankly seems like overkill, and I don't think I'd want to be paying whatever that cost. I can't vouch for any of those 1GB stories by the way, though I have no reason not to believe them. As for the 64MB card, I'm quite the believer, if only because the photos have been staring me in the face all day today. 8)

There's no reason why 1GB memory cards couldn't be released for less than $50, but most people wouldn't want to spend $50 for a memory card that could only be used with a console and nothing else. SD cards with an adapter sure.

Even though you might get a great price on SD cards and such, I really feel those are terrible analogues for the console world. If the base memory card config (64MB) is priced at roughly $20, which I think is fair, what would a card with sixteen times the storage cost?

Expect needless mark-ups in large amounts.

64MB is fine for a pack-in size. Game save files should increase that much...I hope. :? The PS3 better use memory sticks to help further drive down costs there. PEACE.

Conisdering a 1 gig san disc memory stick duo pro costs 180$ ... i would think 64 megs for 20ish is fine , 128 for 40 , 256 for 60 and 512 for 80 would bring it in line with psp memory stick prices

A 64 milligram cartridge sounds impractically light to me. A breath of air would send it flying, if you sat on it by mistake it would undoubtedly get crushed.

Considering that I can get top end 1 GB compact flash cards for $80 shipped, 20 for 64 is bollocks.

You can also find 1GB SD for $80ish also.

If X360 does not ship with a large capacity storage device LIVE better come bundled with a HDD of some type. If it does not the HDD wont be supported well. Fragmenting the user base is stupid... hope MS does not do this.
