Nec production for Revolution starts fall

Bloomberg reported that NEC will be producing chips for Nintendo's Revolution console, which confirmed by NEC president Toshio Nakajima. The production will begin in fall 2006 and the console is expected to launch before holiday season of 2006.

I don't think those websites mean a lot. Especially the European one.

I hope it will come this year though. And I'm keeping my fingers crossed they will at least confirm all dates at E3...

It could possibly make the very end of 2006, the ramp up should be faster than usual considering how underpowered the hardware is. Well, unless there's shortages on the controller.
