XCPU cores use an enhanced version of VMX with 128 registers.

Like with SPE, functionality has been added AND removed in VMX128, so the better word would be modified

At any rate, optimizing for XCPU is a royal pain in the butt too - but that's PPC architecture for ya. Let's all hail IBM for giving it to us.
