Well, it's job of the PR team to put a positive spin on a product and manipulating evidence is an easy way of doing that. Isn't that how PR is carried out in general?Fact sheets; technical comparisons; gibberish all. What ever happened to producing the product and letting it win on it's own merits? Leave the comparisons to 3rd parties (and no bribes thank you!) if there are to be any.
I don't there were any 'good old days' when everybody was honest and everybody tried to foster a spirit of fair competition.
